Small Groups
Small groups provide an additional opportunity for Bible study and prayer outside of our Sunday and Tuesday services at WORD Fellowship. We believe small groups promote spiritual growth and strengthen the bonds of friendship and love among attendees. Small group attendees are encouraged to share their praises and concerns, ask questions and exchange ideas, give and receive emotional support, and grow with one another as they grow in Christ.
While all small groups include a time of Bible study and prayer, the specific format, meeting times, and topics or areas of study are determined within the small group. For instance, small groups might decide to simply work through a specific book of the Bible, perform an in-depth Bible study of a specific topic of interest (e.g., forgiveness), seek to understand what the Bible says about a particular social issue (e.g., poverty), focus on practical topics important to families (e.g., budgeting, finance, and handling debt), or whatever the small group decides. We currently have two on-going small groups. If you are interested in joining or forming a small group, please let us know.
